On September 11, Rīgas Austrumu klīniskā universitātes slimnīca hosted a conference for World Sepsis Day, bringing together specialists from across the Baltic region. The programme covered everything from early sepsis recognition and antimicrobial therapy to pathogen identification, source control and refractory septic shock.

Efferon CTO and Co-Founder Ivan Bessonov presented “Endotoxin and Beyond: Rethinking Hemoadsorption in Sepsis,” focusing on multimodal hemoadsorption with Efferon LPS and the clinical evidence behind its use in sepsis and septic shock.
