Survival benefits and faster recovery of organ function in children with sepsis treated with EfferonNEO.
These results were presented by Dr. Mikhail Rusak at European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care – ESPNIC 2026, together with clinical experience using Efferon NEO, the first hashtag#multimodal hemoadsorption device developed specifically for neonatal and pediatric patients.
For many years, pediatric and neonatal intensive care units had limited access to next-generation hemoadsorption technologies designed for their patients. Efferon NEO was developed to help address this gap.
The discussion that followed showed how relevant this challenge remains for clinicians today. Thank you to chairpersons Gabriella Bottari and Michael Carter, and to everyone who joined the session and contributed their questions and perspectives.
The conversation around dedicated blood purification therapies for children is only beginning.
