The three-day event included workshops and a dedicated track for nurses. Specialists from across the globe discussed effective treatment strategies and explored solutions to long-standing challenges in intensive care.
Dr. Makariy Mendibaev, an intensivist at Demikhov City Clinical Hospital, in his lecture “Personalized Hemoadsorption with Point-of-Care Control” has presented innovative extracorporeal blood purification technology, designed to remove both endotoxins and cytokines. He has highlighted the importance of the timely initiation of hemoadsorption in septic shock patients, referring to his own broad experience with Efferon LPS and the results of LASSO multicenter randomised study.
Efferon LPS is a next-generation extracorporeal blood adsorber, manufactured in the European Union and approved for use in sepsis patients under MDR regulation in 31 countries, including EU, United Kingdom, Panama, Australia and New Zealand.
